Bakery Assistant

Enjoy working in a busy, fun team? Like yummy artisan bakery products and interested in learning about sourdough baking and pastry skills? Look no further – we need a Bakery Assistant to join the baking team in our production bakery unit in Aboyne.

You will be a key member of the team working in the bakery unit supporting our two bakers as they produce bread and pastries for sale in our shop and at farmers markets, responsible for keeping ingredients stocked and the production area clean and tidy.

Duties will include various preparation tasks throughout the baking process, general hygiene and cleaning tasks, stock taking, product packing and loading the van. We are a fun and hard working team, hours are negotiable and will include weekend working occasionally. The role would suit you if you are physically fit as lifting tasks will be required, all training will be provided. And of course, discounted bakery products are a given!
